En las nubes is the attempt to recreate or capture ephemeral moments in day-to-day mundane experiences we as humans experience. My work seeks to recreate moments that are non-specific and vague and abstract. Confusion and nostalgia within memories serve as the works' main purpose. It is in that confusion and vagueness that we find ourselves, or at least I find myself. My work is simply a vessel for the viewer to see and reflect on themselves. Sometimes the work is quiet, and sometimes the work relies heavily on visual aesthetics, but they all serve the same purpose: recreating a world.
