Student works from Digital Art 250 and Art 303 were taught by me at the University at Buffalo.
Assignment: Students were asked to design a work that speaks out on a contemporary issue using type as their main design element. Students were to focus on letterforms and what elements of design could be used to convey their message -- shape, line, space, and texture with an emphasis on balance rhythm, pattern, and color. No raster images were used.
TEXT AS IMAGE, IMAGE AS TYPE.
